LATE JENKS STRIKE EARNS REDS A POINT
A late strike from Neil Jenkins earned Crawley Town a point at Gravesend & Northfleet in the Nationwide Conference on Tuesday evening. The 1-1 draw brought to an end a run of four successive away defeats as the Reds look to climb out of the relegation places.

RESERVES FALL TO HOLMES STRIKE
Crawley Town’s hopes of lifting some silverware took a blow on Monday night when they slipped to a 1-0 home defeat to Worthing in the Sussex County League Alliance Reserve Division.

The defeat leaves the Reds in 4th place, six points behind leaders Eastbourne Borough who are set to travel to the Broadfield Stadium next week.

The only goal of the game came for Worthing in the 24th minute though ex-Crawley Town player Stewart Holmes. Crawley goalkeeper Rikki Banks pushed a cross out to the edge of the area where Holmes fired through a few defenders to give Worthing the lead.
