KEMBER RECALLED
Robbie Kember has been recalled by Crawley Town from his loan spell at Lewes to boost their squad for the remainder of the Conference season.

Kember, 24, who has appeared in only one league game for the Red Devils this season joined the Rooks on loan in order to regain his match fitness after a number of injuries.

Having been a regular for Lewes in their recent unbeaten run he could return to the Crawley squad for Saturday's home Conference game against Aldershot

SUPPORTERS TRUST GROUP LAUNCH WEBSITE
The Supporters Trust Steering Group looking into the future of Crawley Town Football Club have launched a website which they hope will help answer supporters' questions ahead of the Open Meeting on Tuesday 9th May.

The site, at www.thedevilstrust.org.uk has been set up to help supporters learn more about the project before the vote on whether to establish a trust at the Civic Hall meeting.

Spokesman Antony Weller said: “Since we went public with our plans last week we've been asked lots of questions by people who care passionately about the club. Because those questions are sometimes difficult to answer without further material to hand we wanted to have a reference point that supporters could go to and the website is just that.

“In the last few days we have had many messages of support but also some people have raised legitimate questions about our plans and ambitions. Because we are open, honest and accountable we can now direct them to a website that answers their questions more fully. They can also e-mail any further questions to us at thedevilstrust@aol.com”

The Group have also been encouraged by the positive response they have received since outlining plans for the possible creation of the Trust.

Mr Weller said: “There has been a terrific response from supporters of Crawley to our plans, they are keen to find out more about the Trust and we'd urge them to attend the meeting.

“What has been particularly satisfying for us also has been support from former Crawley Town players and people inside football who have contacted us because they've heard what we are hoping to achieve.

“Among those to offer messages of support are a former England international and members of boards at clubs which already have Trusts in place. It shows the level of support there is across the country for fans who care about clubs to be involved in determining their future.”

The Trust Open Meeting is on Tuesday 9th May at the Civic Hall, The Boulevard, Crawley, starting at 7.30pm.

The Group has also condemned vandals who daubed graffiti at Broadfield Stadium in the last week.

“We abhor any illegal acts, especially those which could only further damage the club's name. We would urge the board and the police to ensure that the matter is dealt with appropriately.”

Please check local media, the CTFC.net website and its forum for the latest news on the trust. For more information, please contact thedevilstrust@aol.com
