REDS STOP AWAY DAY BLUES
Crawley put an end to 3 successive defeats on the road this evening when they drew 2-2 at Canvey Island. The Reds looked as though they were going to win all three points after Allan Tait had grabbed a brace, only for Chris Duffy to equalise for the hosts deep in to time added on. Ollie Berquez scored Canvey's other goal.

 
FOX AND KIRKWOOD OUT ON LOAN
Mark Fox and Scott Kirkwood have both joined Conference South side on a months loan. Both players made their debut for the Rocks in their 1-0 in win at Hayes on Saturday.

 
POSH DAY IN ON LOAN
Crawley have signed Peterborough United midfielder Jamie Day on a months loan. Day played in the Peterborough side which lost to the Reds reserves in the Pontins league 6-2 last week. Day went straight in to the first team squad and made his debut at Canvey Island this evening.

BREWERS BEAT THE REDS
Crawley's poor away form continued this afternoon when then travelled to Nigel Clough's Burton Albion. The Reds had hoped for a change in fortune on the road going in to the match but fell to a goal from Andrew Ducros. Despite the Brewers being reduced to 10 men with just over 30 minutes remaining Crawley could not find the back of the hosts net.

HEMSLEY OUT ON LOAN
Crawley defender Kevin Hemsley has joined Conference South side Welling United on a months loan. Hemsley who has recently lost his place in the Reds starting line-up moves to the Kent based side to get some first team games under his belt.

 
DAVIDSON STRIKE BEATS YORK
Danny Davidson scored his first Conference goal for Crawley on Saturday (11th Sept), as the Reds beat former League side York City at the Broadfield Stadium. The win saw the Reds move up to 7th in league table.

MAPES IS AUGUST PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Charlie Mapes is the winner of the CTFC.net player of the month award for August. He wins the award with some fine performances during the month, which ended with a man of the match display against Dagenham & Redbridge.

REDS LOSE AFTER LEADING
Crawley lost 3-2 at Exeter this afternoon after leading 2-0 after 23 minutes. An own goal from Todd on 11 minutes gave the Reds the lead on 11 minutes, with Charlie MacDonald increasing the lead from the penalty spot after Adrian Deane had been felled. Gareth Sheldon scored the home sides first, whilst a sceond half own goal from Phil Smith and a header from Marcus Martin turned the game on it's head and secured the points for the home side.

 
DAGGERS BLUNTED
Crawley returned to winning ways on Bank Holiday Monday (30th August) when they beat Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 with a great display of football. Charlie MacDonald gave the Reds the lead after 48 minutes, with Ryan Palmer scoring the second just after the hour mark.

 
STANLEY MAKE CRAWLEY PAY
Accrington Stanley made Crawley suffer the backlash of their 5-0 defeat at Stevenage Borough when they beat the Reds 4-0 last Saturday (28th August). It was Crawley's first defeat of their Conference campaign after an impressive start. Accrington's goals came from Lutel James, Paul Mullin (2) and Ian Craney.
