Hi all,

Just to announce that we are developing the Fans Phone-in production team and are actively encouraging calls from Crawley, Eastbourne and Lewes fans.

Please try and support this, and Harty. We're working on answering all calls that come in, and sifting the huge volume of texts we get to find a range of clubs and issues.

I know the cross-patch location of Crawley is confusing - you may why ask "Why have Crawley reports and commentary in Saturday Sport but ask for Crawley calls in Sussex Sport after 5". The answer is that at the moment, we just don't have the phone-lines and budget to staff two phone-ins. The texts will however also be read out in Saturday Sport, too.

Please be patient and please do ring:- 08459 570057 text 07786 207070 ... put it into your phones now!

If you wish to "book" a call during the week, email harty@bbc.co.uk (being re-activated this week) and just in case for this weekend dean.adams@bbc.co.uk.

Please don't respond to this thread by opening up old debates about Harty's level of knowledge and interest in clubs other than Brighton, and the Majeed history. I know some of you have thoughts on that. We want to create forward momentum, and yes of course Harty has a role in this to engage with all fans from all clubs and develop "his game".

Plese give us your support.

PS

Saturday Sport February 23rd

Torquay v Crawley - Live commentary (John Barnett) 104.0-104.6 fm and on the "Listen live" button on bbc.co.uk/southerncounties/sport

104.5 FM is one of the Sussex frequencies so will naturally carry Brighton coverage when the frequencies are split.....Try 104.0 FM for the commentary tomorrow.

We're aware that Crawley is in Sussex, but that's not the point.

It's not so much WHO you can hear on which frequency, but which show. 104.5 and 104.7 - 104.8 are Sussex, and 104.0 - 104.6 (but not 104.5) are Surrey.

Entirely coincidental I'm sure. Or maybe he is a true supporter.
