Agents fees

According to BBC we spent the grand sum of £3,300 on agents fees in 2015-16. Third lowest in football league. Of course agents fees is different to wages but it's probably a good indicator of how tight our budget is.

Leyton Orient spent £83,000 - second highest. Probably says something too.

If you're correlating agent payments to budgets are you suggesting Orient have one of the biggest budgets in the division?

Kudos to Hartlepool for not spending any money on agents.

I think it's reasonable to assume that the clubs that have spent lots of money on agents fee will have the biggest budgets. Unless of course they overspend, but I'd imagine that most don't and there is a strong correlation between the two.

According to the FA the figures actually straddle 2 seasons - Feb 2016 to Jan 2017.

Interesting to see FGR spent £175,000 and Aldershot £56. Looks like they could both be in the play offs.

It seems the only player we paid an agent fee for was Kaby Djalo.
