Difficult to predict as Darren Deadman is the referee.

In that case, I'm going for 7 yellows, 1 red and a dubious penalty awarded... but I've absolutely no idea who the recipients will be...? Shocked

Neither does Deadman, but he'll sort it out on the day. No problem there.

Is this the first time he's been to our place since THAT Pompey game?

The man's a disgrace.

But let's not forget who cheated us in the lead-up to one of the sending offs - Izale McLeod.

Yes, I'm well aware of that.
My main issue with Deadman is that he seems to give yellows very cheaply early on (when a finger wagging might suffice), putting himself under pressure later. As far as Simpson's "trip" on McLeod, I wasn't aware either that it was a dive until later, so I can hardly find fault with Deadman over it. I recall it came about due to a lousy throw out from the keeper too.
The issue that does gnaw though is the perception that Deadman needs to do something a bit controversial in order to feel important. He doesn't. The best refs are the ones you never notice unless they really must get involved.

I Think after the good second half display at Barnet, we will start brightly and go on the offensive

Crewe are desperately bad when on the back foot and often crumble so an early goal could open the floodgates

3-0 crawley

Collins
Connolly
Murphy

2154 in attendance

He reffed our home FA Cup tie against Bristol Rovers earlier this season.

I'm sure he got a typical Crawley welcome.
A light ripple of applause with not too much noise.
