One for the anoraks from early Broadfield days.
Let's see who can name:
- players (at least two should be recognisable)
- the season
- our opponents in this game
- the scoreline
I predict only one forum member will get it right - hello JB.

Blimey Taff you don't want much do you!
I recognise you and and I think me in the pic - and is that Ian Payne you're cuddling?
Apart from that, the old memory's not what is was and I'm sure drink had been taken

Top marks to JB; consolation prize for Savage for admitting what we've all known for a while.
Cracking game, that. Payne's late double after we looked in real relegation danger after Gloucester took the lead, as they were one of our drop rivals.
The penalty was smashed down the middle, cue a melee in the goal after Payne slammed the ball back into the net; and the winner a deft dummy on the edge of the box past a bewildered defender before curling the ball past the keeper.
Everyone talks about Payne's penalty save at Weymouth but this was right up there. |
