We got three points but one of our poorest performances of the season at home.

Well first of all well done to the club, a decent crowd to reward their efforts of the last couple of weeks. Probably double what we would have had on a regular matchday.

First half - non event, plenty of sideways passing but we didn't trouble the GK and it needed a good Morris save to keep us level.

Second half we gradually got on top and when the chance came we took it. Good cameo from Bobson who nearly got a second and overall we probably deserved it.

Lets hope some of the extra 2,000 enjoyed it and come back.

I thought it was pretty reasonable. The first half was decent but it did drop a bit in the second half.
Although neither side penetrated a great deal, I thought both sides tried to play football and it made for pretty decent entertainment.
Sure, it wasn't scintillating stuff but it had some pretty good moments.

Ha ha. I've just written that I liked the first half performance better. It must have been because that steward wouldn't move more than an inch either way and blocked the view Smile . I got higherr up for the second half.

Thanks to the fans for helping club clear covers. Entertaining game where we led the way sat back after we scored but played well on the break. DD subs and timing was excellent. No player had a bad game. Unusual with a steward in one goal and an official in the other. Hard pick mom so many played their part. Now wstch us slowly but surely get in the play off places. Still learning but today DD and his team put in 100% and i thought defensively we limited their chances. Not a bad game for the 2000 extra fans to see and some hopefully return.Thoughts of DD having to go are riddiculous now. Onwards and upwards. Today we showed ability to be the champions of this poor league.

Good battling win. But I don't think playing Dean Cox or his replacement Jordan Roberts as wingbacks plays to there strength. Hartlepool kept them back most of the time defending. Just where they wanted them.

I thought both teams played some nice football but it lacked a bit of blood and guts.

We do have a bad habit of scoring and then inviting the opposition to attack us. We were well on top in the second half until we scored. I'm not sure if we strung two passes together in the next ten minutes.

The three centre half's played well for us. Yorwerth was the one you noticed as he was charging into midfield to make tackles but I always think we look safer with McNerney in the side.

Onwards and upwards.

Correct, not wing backs at all but both good players.
Is this because we don't have a left back so we alter the formation to suit?

There was so much that went well today im amazed at some of the negativity. Today once again we played the ball like champions looked fit committed and together. Im struggling with mom and changed my mind several times. Even Bob,s son could be a contender though as he didnt have anywear nr as much game time ive reluctant dropped him from my mom short list.

I'm sure Josh Yorwerth could play there.
