Fantastic initiative by everyone behind the scenes... all we need is for the players to do their bit and give us the type of performance we saw in our last home match..!

I'm not fussed about my season ticket. I'd question whether it devalues the product on offer?

There is that risk... It's a gamble to encourage fans and potential fans through the turnstiles in greater numbers and it will give them some positive publicity too...

...if people aren't showing enough interest, it is down to the club to offer something innovative to motivate them. No-one can say that they have not tried.

Good move by the club, didnt get a season ticket this year but would not have minded if I had...me personally , I will be paying full price and quite possibly donate a little extra on top..I hope there are not too many regular fans around who pay the minimum...

Heres what I'll be doing.
I'll take 20 along and spend half on getting in and the other half on a hot dog and kebab.

My main incentive for only paying 1 would be so that I could post it on here while triple r assesses the value of his season ticket. The reality, however, is that if I do only pay 1, I will make a charitable donation too.

It's a marvellous idea. But can I get in free with my Crystal Palace ticket stub?

Credit to the club. It's great to see it engaging with the fans and also engaging in a little radical thinking to attract new people through the gate.

If the idea is to pay what you think it is worth, 1 is a little steep based on some of our performances this season. Wink

I jest, of course. If we do get lots of new punters through the door let's hope it's a Grimsby rather than a Cambridge performance.

You will need to hang onto that for the Friendly against Forest. Wink

personally i dont think it s a good initiative, there's too much scope for abuse there and essentially it boils down to how well the team plays on the day. It's good the Club is trying new lines but it's not like this hasnt been tried before at other Clubs i dont see that Clubs like Mansfield this has had any effect on their attendances ........

I dont suppose the Club are actually advertising this around town at all or in newspapers or is it just going to be word of mouth from regulars ? i'm sure that if they just advertised themselves at proper prices or let people in for nominal fees to pre season friendlies they'd get bigger crowds.
