Sorry to hear yesterday was John Barnett's last away commentary.

Having enjoyed many Saturday afternoons at a local game whilst listening to the commentary I would like to thank JB for his outstanding efforts. It must be a challenge travelling to some of the outposts involved, then hanging around for the post match interviews, particularly given our performances over the last 2/3 years and the increasing lack of interest from the BBC in anything outside the Amex.

Good luck to Harry too in taking over the mic, a hard act to follow, but maybe the change will also coincide with a change of results on the field.

That's a shame. Not sure why (radio coverage, I presume), but the last couple of seasons haven't heard much of him. But for a number of seasons (for me and my son) he was the voice of Crawley away games. Great radio style, informative, and clearly a HUGE Crawley fan. Where's he gone then?
