Lets not be outnumbered outsung outfought. Its an opportunity to say to opposing fans when you are away there is an alterantive game on not a million miles away. Weather looking good no excuses, get down the Broadfield as I do not want to see the ground covered blue. Make it red. I imagine a fair few will desert falmer village for the day so get down there. I believe pay on day so nice and easy like the old days.COYR scarf

Can't make this one today as working from 3.30 - midnight. Should be a good test for the players especially if Brighton bring a strong squad today. COYR

Cheers

I think both teams will field their strongest at some stage what helps guage that test is if both sides do not make constant changes and i dont think a complete change at halftime does anymore than warm.players up in what could be a game behind closed doors. Appreciate its a PSF but fans pay an admissuon so those on.pitch and those responsible for putting them on the pitch would do well to remember who is paying them.

I'm stuck at work too. I'd try to get away for an important game but not for a friendly.

Good luck to the lads and I hope you all enjoy it today.

0-1 17 mins
0-2 30 mins

Strange that our twitter site seems to think Brighton are at home with the scores ???

Good game to miss by the sound of it. Shocked

Still, onwards and upwards. Long live the revolution and all that.

not good at all. yorwerth at fault again for two goals as per the barnet game. the changes we had on in the second half were worse than woeful. we started with one upfront and ended up with no one up front as we only have one striker out of two who is fit. defence is a massive worry.

I think our 'first team' look okay but we severely lack strength in depth.

I'm pretty happy with our core players of McNerney, Connolly, Smith, Payne, Roberts, Banton and Collins.

We still lack in the full back positions massively and I worry about Yorwerth stepping into the breach if Conns/McNerney pick up long term injuries - a big risk with both of their recent injury records.

Payne and Smith look solid enough in centre midfield, as do Roberts and Banton but Enzio seemed to drift in and out of the game.

Collins was feeding off scraps and could have scored a couple. He will do well for us though, I'm sure.

Today was the first time I've seen us in pre-season and although the score doesn't look great, I wouldn't say a full strength Brighton were all over us, they just took their chances when they came.

Millwall next week will be a much more even test and we'll get a better judgement of the squad's capabilities after that much.

I will say this season is going to be a massive struggle. Forget we were playing a much better team today but it was clear some the signings made are not even close to league football standard.

Goalkeeper is a problem with two novices. Both looked shaking and will make a ton of mistakes

We have no left back or right back of league standard. Young and Arthur are just not league standard. The Turkish right back made a rabbit in the headlights look decisive. He was so far out of position most the time it was stunning. Blackburn made the best fist of it but not great shakes. How DD let oybanjo leave and sign half that lot is beyond me.

Midfield was ok in the first half but only OK. With the exception of Clifford the lot that came on second half should never get on the pitch again at this level. The Turkish midfielder and Gregory were beyond dire. The dutchman is a worry also. Did nothing in 90 minutes.

I seriously question DD judgement . At least six of his signings are without doubt not evenclose to league standard. He has jumped the gun and got cannon fodder aka John Gregory .

I came away feeling relieved iI hadn't shelled out 400 on a season ticket. Relegation material written all over that squad.
