I wish I could raise a cheer, but I've seen how that has gone at many other places - more investable clubs than Crawley.
So let's do what we do with new players and start slagging them off before we know anything about them Smile
Are you sure that you didn't mean that someone bumped into Mr Hollis in Argos while he was out shopping and he mentioned something about a takeover?

Seriously now, if someone wants to put some money into the club and building the club (at a sustainable rate) fits in well with their other business plans, then that's very good news.
However, if they want us to play in blue or wish to turn the ground into a chicken farm or car factory (a la Wolfsburg), then we should be very worried. I just hope that any money is from a proveable, non-contentious source to keep people like (chicken) Drumstick at bay.

Sounds promising. Something needs to change and if true, it could reignite interest in the club.

Thinking about this further, anyone remember those reports a while ago about oil under the Weald?
Broadfield Stadium - a new factory for making nodding donkeys.

Agree with this with the obvious caveat that it is merely a rumour at his stage. The timing seems odd though with the transfer window about to close. Surely a prospective investor would want to be sure that we have what we need to stay in the football league?

Very much agree with this.

If this is all true - and I sincerely hope it is - please can it all be open, transparent and up-front. No characters in the shadows with mystery money such as:

Dubai Dave
Muscat Mike
Any Dhabi Andy or
Bahrain Barry

A new, genuine, fresh start and direction are what we desperately need

And I don't think anyone could argue with this at all.

That would be welcome. Although I enjoyed our rise to league 1 as much as anyone, there was always a concern that some skeleton would be found at the back of the cupboard.

Although such collapses have happened, it would take something pretty dire to lose our league status this season. Also, if someone wants to put money in, the current playing staff could be supplemented by loanees of a better quality to see the season out.

Hopefully wil happen , yes its a step into the unknown and a bit risky but at the moment the club is stagnating , not gaining any fans and loseing the ones it does have. The future at the moment is very bleak and we need to re-awaken the club again.
lets hope the ctsa or who ever will be able to air the concerns of fans to the new people asap, and we can get our club back....

why do i have this nagging thought in the back of my head that HK Paul has 'bought back the club'

i use that phrase loosely as he is just a 'benefactor'

i really hope i am wrong

Careful Sulton... some people don't mess about with banning orders, you could lose your keyboard tappers... Cool
