Of course we were going to end up back in non-league soon enough. If it's not this season it'll be within three.

The JCLs can go back to Sky Sports and for everyone that was here before it'll seem like all a dream.

The JCLs departed ages ago. Do keep up.

Rooney took every dead ball free kick corner yesterday . While Henderson was on in the first half the one thing you do get him doing is taking free kicks and corners. Henderson doesn't have many strengths but dead ball delivery he is way above Rooney and everyone else in the team.
when you think Bradley wasnt good enough last season but now is the best defender it says it all we are shambolic in defence and thankfully Freddie is a good keeper and saved us on many occasions bu he and the supporters deserve a better defence,

Bradley was woeful yesterday. McNerney is our best defender. Look at our performance in defence since he's been out. Woodman may be the player who keeps us up this season. Shame he's only here til January.

Not all of them.

Let me point you in the direction of the 600 at home on a Tuesday night against Altrincham.

On a scale of 0-1000 that must have been about your 600th game?

lets hope Yates is long gone before January. Woodman has been a real star for Crawley we will lose even more games without him

Very disappointing game from out perspective.

First half we seemed to have a midfield of one player on the left and three in the middle. No right hand side outlet. Defence missed McNerney badly. Midfield/attack sorely missed a fit Gwion.

Rooney is a real enigma. Obviously has oodles of skill, but the footballing brain seems missing. Takes far too long on the ball. This is sometimes due to getting the ball too close to his feet and being unable to move/pass it in that position. By the time he is sorted an opponent or two are on him.

What a difference Young made. We had structure in midfield and created more chances, and some ooohs from the crowd.

Sadly due to the habit of pumping the ball to their giant No 5 (how did he stay on the pitch?) we were never going to score.

Good points? Woodman (nowt he could have done about the goal) and Scales.

Almost good points? Smith runs about, gets involved and does get forward (although not effectively). Huge improvement from last year.

but Smith cannot defend. Its unbelievable even with or third rate team.he is still a Crswley player. Young injected pace into attack. Scales gpes foreard but struggles getting back and several.times a centre half had to mop up for him

I'd have booed them off, but couldn't be bothered!

Thought Rooney had a decent game, lots of endeavour and looked our most likely so he got my MOTM.

Bradley needs to work on his distribution this week in training. Everything went more up than out, but still most of them were too long, with snow on.

Not a good day at the office. I'd be surprised to see more than 1800 in the ground next week.

I thought he was on a season long loan. Not good news if you're right!

I just checked the OS. He is here until January 2nd. As you say, not good news. If he continues to do well for England U-19s, I don't rate our chances of keeping him here in 2016.

I think if keep getting beaten Newcastle will withdraw him. It can't do a youngster confidence much good conceding five goals in two games.

Do you think they might withdraw their own first team keeper as well? He's not doing too well at the moment either, is he?
