Just got in. A 3-0 win ! Did I misread the score ?
Wow, I did not see that coming after Wimbledon and Portsmouth. |

First match of the season. What a shock I expected the worse but they put in a terrific performance all round. Could have scored five or six. Wood work hit twice, couple of openings in the second half that should have been taken. But still all round very solid at the back. Goalkeeper made a few great saves. New left back looked good, seemed to have a good understanding with Gwion. All in all great day. It will take some thought to pick a man of the match, so many good performances. |

A great day out. Reminded me of some of the days 5 or 6 years ago when the players really got stuck in and got the job done.
Whoever said we we lucky should pop round their GP on Monday as there may be signs of a mental deficiency there that needs checking out. 3 goals and hitting the woodwork twice doesn't say lucky to me.
Good performances through the team. Sharp up front, competitive in midfield and solid at the back - Woodman really wasn't troubled much throughout the game.
Once again 100% given by all the lads. 5 points from 4 games against promotion contenders leaves us sitting nicely in mid table.
Happy days. |

Great performance and support.
Difficult to pick MoM as all played well.
A couple of observations - McNerney is a very good acquisition and Woodman seemed far more assured today; his early game nerves seem to be settling.

Any away win in League One would be a better result in all honesty.......
However, that's a great result. |
