Im guessing it says he requested a move but this was declined as the potential new team would not pay our valuation.

Just a guess.....but there again the quote from 69 may just be a guess too Smile

It would be very interesting to read how you are aware of this situation. Do tell!

Have you read Ben Smith's book entitled "Journeyman: One man's odyssey through the lower leagues of English football"?

If not I suggest you do and you may then be better informed on the happenings behind the scenes regarding transfers and the payments involved between players and clubs.

I love the way everyone on this forum is an expert on all things football.
For what it's worth, I think Crawley69 is ITK and knows a lot more about what goes on behind the scenes than most, if not all.

It's a sign of the times when this predictive text malarkey puts wifi instead of with. Smile And maybe he wasn't allowed to sit with the team as he was still contagious with whatever illness kept him out of the Nuneaton game? Smile

Big mac sat in crowd stood but didnt engage in team talk from what i could see despite being kitted out. He wouldve made much needed difference had he played today.

He pulled out at 1.30 saying he was ill.

He has put in a transfer request, and Crawley have already rejected one offer for him.

Read the article in the Argus and it will confirm.

We were offered 50k by a London club in league 1 . The club wouldn't accept the valuation and so no deal.

It needs sorting as we need a left back and a decent midfielder.
