Nigel Adkins sacked as Reading manager this afternoon. Guess that 6-1 defeat to Birmingham was the final straw. Reckon it won't be too long before he's back in football again.

Wouldn't mind him becoming manager at all. Not much chance of it though, IMO. I'd take him though... but then again I'd take anyone over Gregory, even JTG!!

Reading haven't hung around replacing him. Ex West Brom Head Coach Steve Clarke now appointed as Adkins replacement on a 2 1/2 year contract.
