Hi Sussex Boy,

How can they 'repeat' the 1988 cup final when they weren't in it?

Kind regards,

BICH

Hello BICH,

As far I'm concerned they was in that Final!

AFC Wimbledon to me are the Wimbledon of old! Its no secret I have huge respect for the club and fans. (not going through why again)

I hate MK Dons and refuse to even recognise them as a club! Modern football at its worst

Anyway I really don't want to turn this into a thread about Wimbledon, this is just ,my opinion!!!

Good luck to AFC Wimbledon although TBH I really don't care whether they win or lose 10-0.

What is frustrating is that we had two winnable games against teams below us (Yeovil and Accy) which could have given us a plum game and some much needed cashflow. Instead we went out without a whimper. Journeyman John should be feeling sick about that this morning.

JG wouldn't give a toss, he's still got a job thanks to his old mucker MD. That's far more important to him.

I was just about to post the exact same thing. Dunford is as much a part of the problem as JG and Groves. They will still have his full backing even when we drop down into non-league again. Rolling Eyes

Would the draw have been constructed the same if we had beaten Yeovil? I've not taken any interest in the draws since we were knocked out so don't know how the numbering of the teams were decided.

A real pair of chumps I'm afraid. A manager who admits to sitting in the stands as his presence on the touchline affected the players negatively, and a coach whose methods seem to be the cause of our ex-captain heading for the exit.

We really did make our choice badly with those two.

Yes, could have been us. The order of teams in the 2nd round draw was added to the Prem/CS teams.
