I know we are fighting for survial in this league but wouldn't it be great to stay up just to have the opputunity (if they get relegated) to play our closest rivals in a league game?
We may even see some of those Old Trafford fans reappear for the away fixture? Slightly optimistic I know, but these are dark days and I need something to try and look forward to. Going to their place as the away team would be a cracking day out for all of us presently suffering in the terraces (and seats) this season.

Knowing our luck, Brighton will get relegated, and we will too Sad
It would be a hell of a shock to the carrier bags and their fans to be in the same division as CTFC

If it were to happen, I would have to get a disguise and attend.I would have to be there.
That said, I actually hope they recover from this blip and stay up.

I think quite a few old faces would come out if this game ever happens?
Then again, as Northgate has said, the way things are going at the moment they will get relegated, and so will we!

Bit downbeat.

If we continue gathering points at the rate we are in the last 5 games, then we will have 49 at the end of the season.

If we gather at the rate of 1.2 points per game (our last 10 games average) we will have 54 points at season end.

Would we be relegated on that form?

It's all a bit depressing down here in Albion country. Lots of long faces, and I don't just mean the wife.

49 points would go right to the last day. Last two seasons we would have been in the final survival spot.

54 would be ok.

I wasn't predicting we will be relegated, just saying it would be a shame to miss out on the Battle of Sussex in L1, as knowing our luck, we'd go down the same season Brighton do.
I'll reserve judgment on whether we can stay up until after January, and our transfer activity. More worried about who we sell rather than who we might bring in.

Point taken, apologies if required.

I too would love the home and away game in Sussex. Especially the night out in Brighton afterward.

Would the GH Coaches run the return bus at 2330 hours? Wink
