Is meant to be a quick turnaround for bottles to save queuing at the bar for 20 minutes.

Big queues for both last night as the bottle bar was serving hot food and there was only one person manning it.

Not good enough!

Make people wait for ages for a beer and they will drink elsewhere!

Totally agree Ian, Redz could be an even better revenue stream for the club if it some more thought was put into it.
It's got to the point where I am considering bringing my own cans to drink.

I know it would cost money, but I think it needs a total rethink to the design. Maybe extend the bar to the full length of the building and staff it accordinly?

Totally agree. I started queueing in the main bar about 10 past 7. At 20 past I gave up. Even the queue to go through turnstyle 6 (West Stand south end) was so rediculous when we joined it just after half past that I did not bother queueing at the catering area for a bottle of coke.

I had a touch.
I was in the queue for 10 minutes when I reached the bar.I was next to an Ipswich fan who had been waiting ages and was getting desperate for a beer for him and his mate.I finally ordered 3 pints of San Miguel. It was then the Ipswich fan offered me 10 for two of the pints because he was fed up of waiting he paid me and walked off with his beer relieved.I hope he enjoyed the match.

I don't like to complain but I got to the ground 15 minutes before kick-off due to work, went straight to Redz to partake with liquor as you do, saw what they had left behind the bar and promptly walked out.

Most of the semi-decent beer had run out (or was never there?) and all they had left was the crap stuff (Carlsberg & Tetleys).

Still, means more money for Saturday Very Happy

The girls behind the main bar were working hard, but there could have been 2 more behind there easily, if we are to have away support in Redz, which I don't have a problem with, it needs to be better run.

Agreed. They looked a couple short from last season. Saturday will be busy so hopefully staffing numbers will be up. I must admit, any time I 'm in they are all working very hard, but always with a smile, so keep up the good work, ladies!

No complaints of how the girls behind the bar work, they go as quick as they can! Just short on numbers, waiting 10-15 minutes to get served wouldn't make anyone go and buy another pint!

They sure do. I did hear one of them say they were short staffed 'again' .. maybe the club should look at appointing a couple more for matchdays.

We could always make the girls go topless then we wouldn't mind waiting 10 minutes to get served.

With the Half Moon closed at the moment I would have thought the club would have realised Redz would be a little busier and that some fans that may not normally go to Redz thought they would try it out.

We may have lost future income due to the club not getting it right this time.

As long as they look the part, last time i was in there i think it would have scared punters off if some of them had gone topless

That said, the last time i WAS in there, Labour were in government!

They will have a good fight as "The New Moon" opens shortly.

It's been changed into a sports bar, new pool tables, new everything really.
