One of your more alternative posts.

Folkestone Invicta by the looks of it. Who are they playing?

My only trip there was to witness Leroy Huggins and Danny Hockton put on a masterclass in how not to score.

I think the best combination would be Hockton paired with Simon Ullathorne... or possibly Callum Willock...? Wink

Haven't seen the clip, can't get it on phone....but Ashford and Folkestone shared the same ground(Folkstone) from the late 80's.Went there a good few times.
I accidentally broke Ian's front tooth on the coach travelling there on one occasion! Embarassed

I thought that was where you were going with it. And yes, what a cracking goal that was from Warden, shortly after he'd hit the post from a yard out (or was that Sol Eriemo?).

Decent celebration by us two as well IIRC.

Dropped hidden beer from the bar was the only sour point, was a good bar too above main stand so you could watch the game whilst supping.

You sure it was Folkestone - Danny Hockton put on a similar masterclass almost every week (save for that hat trick against weymouth last day of the season) Very Happy

Do we remember the shot against Hinckley - think it is still troubling the air traffic controllers around Gatwick - Nasa confirmed they no longer have it in its sights

The supreme Sir Daniel of Hockton masterclass was undoubtedly in the FA Cup at Flackwell Heath. Even the ref was splitting his sides with mirth............and the band played on.

He and Dave Stephens missed so many chances that day, it could have been a cricket score... but I also recall an SSC semi-final at Lewes against nine man Rye & Iden.... shocking... truly bloomin shocking...!

And the sending off - 10 minutes to walk the length of the pitch?

I remember the embarassment that day so well for Stewart Holmes looking more than guilty for scoring a well taken goal from his first chance.

Danny was looking on as Holmesy took his chance rather than lay in Danny to miss another gilt edged opportunity. Fabulous day
