we end at home which I feel is always good and the first date on the fixture list I always look for first and who knows what will be important fixtures at this stage. My gut feeling is we will struggle massive next season and so all games near the wore will be important. Swindon first at home should bring a good attendance and the Ipswich cup draw is a good one. Lets hope we don't end up with lots midweek home fixtures as they never tend to filll the ground as well.

I got married on a Friday then went to the game on the Saturday. I'm still an idiot though as I foolishly agreed to go away for a week as the season starts this year (wedding anniversary, DOH!). Thankfully we are only going to West Wittering this year so I'm going to drive back for the first 2 home games.

I never made this mistake as I never got married. My two long term cohabitation attempts were with football haters who even resented me watching it on TV. It's not as if it was even their telly Smile .

Young male offspring with whom sessions of 'father and son bonding' solve the marriage bit for a few years.

Of course divorce works as well.... Wink

Have to say I got done on a Friday as the fixture list wasn't out when we had to book the venue, no need to miss things unless you want to.

As for fixtures for next season I still haven't even bothered to look at them whereas normally by now I'd sorted out all my shift swaps etc up to Xmas, just can't get enthusiasm for anything really nowadays, getting worrying.
