Why no game on New Years Day ? Seems odd to playing on Boxing Day (Friday) and then 2 days later. Something to do with FA Cup 3rd round weekend ?

I will bet now that Crewe away (Saturday 4th April) gets pulled forward 24 hours to Good Friday.

It has been already, according to Reds Wall.

No NY Day fixture. Crewe and Oldham over Easter.

Underwhelming...

I'm not as excited about the fixture list as in the previous two seasons. There are less opposing teams I'm looking forward to. Last season Wolves was always going to be the big one, Rotherham was obviously going to be big, Brentford always good for an away visit - they've all gone. The novelty of playing the likes of Sheffield Utd is lessening. Orient on Boxing Day. Football League 1 Northern Division etc. What excites me more is the revamp of the team by JG and seeing how it responds to the now familiar opponents.

i am gutted the Sheff Utd away game is the day i get married, thats 3 seasons i have tried to get to this game Sad

it looks to me as a tough start to the season but the last 7 all look winnable

i am really looking forward to Orient away on Boxing day - i love a good away game at xmas time - that way not excessive time with the family Laughing
