Still a non-league player. Still what JG thought he was worth.

Non league players can command decent fees these days. It was reported that Joe Lolley went to Huddersfield for 250,000....

But to good for Crawley Town (who?) according to some Halifax fans! Shocked
Interesting though with our austerity measures just announced we were still in for buying a player?

Quite disappointed we didn't get a deal done for Gregory, from what I've seen of him he's a quality player, hungry to play in a higher league as well I expect
IMO the kind of player Crawley should be seriously looking into on our budget.
For what its worth as well I've seen a bit of Lolley on BT Sport this year and he's a top drawer player as well, maybe the next Vardy Conference -> Championship can be done!

If the player makes a request to leave, that might force Halifax's hand, albeit any deal would be a loan initially now.

I see Peterborough have just signed a player from Thurrock on a 3+ year deal. They do seem very committed to trying to unearth non league gems?

Brave move by Millwall. Good to see. TBH thought he would move in to the football league but at L1 level. Mind you, unless he can help turnaround Millwall's recent pull in to relegation battles, he'll be in L1 during his 3 year contract
