I must admit that I am concerned - but ultimately the changes may work out OK. My concern is that an L2 club could offer Bulman a better deal than us; it doesn't matter to me that it's AFC Wimbledon.
I'm reaching the point where I'm thinking that our best weapons are John Gregory's charisma and motivational skills. They are good assets when persuading a young, hungry player to sign for us - and when talking a veteran into a swansong. I know it was at a higher level but I wonder how many of Brian Clough's original Forest or Derby squads were rated as individuals when he first acquired them. OK, I realise that JG is no Brian Clough (who is?) - but he doesn't need to be as we are further down the pyramid. The right blend and the right coaching can make a team far better than the sum of its parts.

But I am concerned.

I think we will have to wait and see if he has the motivational skills because this will now be wholly his team. He seems to have the name to have brought in 2/3 players but we need lots more and also he hasnt been able to convince a few that have worked under him to stay.
Getting concerned for our midfield with all of our workers (and a fair degree of skill) have all gone, Drury whatever else he offers is too much of a stroller to rely on to get up and down the pitch. Maybe JG sees Jimmy Smith as the ideal DB replacement?

I'm just glad I can say that the only time he scored two in a game for us, "I was there."

Possibly my favourite ever away day. So many memories. I was already devastatingly hung over from the night before but we drank long into the night again. Brilliant times.
