So who do we want? The most attractive for fans is likely to be a trip to the Amex. Or would we like somewhere new but further away like Ipswich or Cardiff? How about a winnable home time e.g. Walsall or Leyton Orient?

In the FA Cup, where there is more money to be made, I would have liked Brighton away. In this competition, and at this stage, I say home tie against a team at our level!

It says we will play one of those 18 teams but what has happened to all the Lge 2 sides, or am I missing something?

They will be unseeded as well, so we can't play them. I think the Championship and top half of League One from last season are all seeded. As we finished 14th, we just missed the cut-off point.

We finished below 12th, so we have to play a seeded team.

Brighton away will certainly be the one we all want. Will that not be new James?

Failing that, Home or away against Charlton, coincidentally Wink , will do.

As the game is likely to be midweek, i'll be hoping for a home tie. If its an away game I won't be able to get the time off work, most probably.
Though a money-spinner away to one of the big clubs would also be good. We need the revenue.

I was one of those who went in 1992 to the Goldstone but the Amex would certainly be new. If we were drawn away, I wouldn't be too unhappy with Birmingham given that I thought we might be playing them in the league until right at the end! Charlton would be good for obvious reasons Ian Laughing

Can't help thinking the Football league Trophy (JPT) might be the one we should be taking a bit more seriously this time around... short cut to a nice day out at the final..?
