Released by walsall, 17 goals for them last season, might be worth a punt.

They obviously can't afford to keep him, so there's zero chance we can.

Walsall fans seem to think that if he was any good and put a bit of effort in he could have had double that amount.

Not seen enough of him to form my own opinion but things such as that makes me wary.

right now i'd take a 17 goal a season forward

if we can get Tubbs back with Proctor hopefully signing we only need 1 more upfront not a bad front 3 if i do say so myself

Why is that, not sure they would be any bigger spenders than us? Michael Dunford didnt say we were skint, but seemingly focusing all spare money on the squad (still cannot see how we can operate without a secretary though!).
Also what about the Exeter keeper just been released Artur Krysiak, only 24, Polish U19 international, must cost less than Jones and might be a prospect?

The extent of our clear out does seem to give us a near blank sheet of paper - it's about affordability and priorities and putting a disproportionate money in to an out of contract goal scorers wages would be a reasonable move
