JG has confirmed that players have now been told who will & who won't be offered new deals for next season. He's confirmed 'one or two' won't be here next season, whilst Drury, Fadz, Walsh, Essam & Simpson are all under contract for next season so he has at least 5 players confirmed. I think Fallon will no doubt be one of those who will be released, question is who else will join him?

With the players told yesterday I wonder if there will be a few clues as to who won't be here next season by their body language tomorrow?

Think Torres,Dicker,Proctor,Fallon,Maddison, will be released but can also see the likes of Bulman and M.Connolly on that list.

Not so sure about Torres & Proctor myself, think both will be offered new deals. Still could well be wrong, guess we will know soon enough.

I am sure its a similar position at many other lower league clubs, all trying to balance the books.

I think the problem does not lie with Crawley, it lies with the fact that there are too many professional football clubs in England. And there's not enough fans and their money to go around them all.

I think in the future you may well see some clubs go part time / semi pro, as I can only see fan numbers diminishing.

Bullman has already signed up , Proctor and Conolly will be offered terms and i think Dicker is as well.

Fallon isn't being offered anything not sure about P Connolly .

Hmm, do you know something everyone else doesn't then as nothing official has come out of the club regarding DB yet has it?

If Bulman has signed why wasn't he one of those mentioned by JG as being under contract.

my understanding of DB is that a contract will be offered and it is just a matter of time before he is tied down to a 1 year contract with a further 1 extension if JG wants him for longer

Well I guess no one knows if he has signed but I can say he has agreed terms.

Proctor , M Connolly , Sadler ,Jones and Dicker will be offered contracts as will Clarke although I am not sure he will be here i.e I think we will contract him to sell him.

If no one knows if he's signed, how can you then turn around & say he's agreed terms? scratch

I wouldn't be shocked to see L1 and L2 revert to some format like the (very) old 3rd division north and 3rd division south. It would reduce certain running costs like overnight stays in hotels and general travel expenses.

Makes sense better travelling support as well.

In the alternative the greedy bxxxards in the premier league could increase funding. If league one and two agreed not to employ foreign players and championship clubs restricted themselves to 3 per squad it provide a breeding ground for young English players.
