Looking a bit over cast and wind getting up in Crawley at the minute, not as warm as recently. |

0-1 down at HT v Crewe. Very poor game, Dicker has done nothing but get himself booked. Players look flat, crowd flat. Ref clueless. Hoping the second half gets better!

Sounds like a corker.
The earlier comment about the crowd being flat didn't surprise me.Here we were,at home in a very winnable game in which a win could have put us in a relatively safe position, yet there was very little chat on this forum leading up to the game.
Has the crowd given up?If so,don't be surprised if the team is uninspiring.
Please let's not hear all that two way street crap.

I don't think anyone could argue your comments in all honesty. Lot more urgency in the second half & a huge amount of effort from Proctor. Goal a-side, he worked so hard when he came on & fought like a warrior. Torres the best of the midfield players I thought. Connolly MOTM? Not for me he wasn't. Proctor was by far the best player on the pitch & he didn't come on until the 56th minute!

MOTM was Jamie Proctor who showed more passion, energy and class in 35 mins than most of the others in 90. Too many mediocre performances. Mixed bag of substitutions from JG. Bringing on Jamie and Monakana really got things going. He was right to take off Billy Clarke - probably the worst I've seen him play. Mike Jones could probably feel hard done by, personally, thought Josh should have come off as he played like a new father whose having sleepless nights. I thought the taking off of Rory Fallon was a poor decision by JG as Proctor and Fallon were linking up very well - we fizzled out thereafter. |

Question for Matt Putland. Mark Connely MoM wtf???
He was dire and has not played that well for about 6 weeks.
People around me thought it was April 1st again.
MoM should of been Torres or Proctor for his 35 minutes work. |

Ref was a total disgrace first half, and just hopeless the second. Crewe were the nastiest, cheating timewasting bunch of scummers we've had at the Broadfield in ages. Could have been a Westley team. Our defence, not a good game from any of them. Too much bickering in the back four. What the hell was that for their winner? Did they all think it was offside? Paul Jones had his poorest game for us.
Plus side, Proctor worked his nuts off for us, and scored a stunning goal. Hopefully that will boost his confidence, and the a-holes will get off his back. Monokana looks dangerous, he should start every game for us. Torres and Mike Jones did ok, though we missed Bulman. Clarke improved on recent performances. Not sure Fallon is good enough.
5 defeats on the spin now. We are in trouble. |
