No great surprise. Totally out of his depth. I wonder if we ever watched him before he joined us.

I thought he started ok, in pre season in particular he looked very good even against opposition like Crystal Palace, however I don't think he ever really recovered from his error against Newport in the JPT.

He cost us the game that night and RB didn't trust him again. His performances when he has played since have been poor. No surprise that he's gone but I wish him well wherever he ends up.

Shame. I wanted to see him used as a right winger. Think he could have done well in that position. Still, good luck to him in Norway, or wherever he ends up.

I've no doubt he will do a decent job for someone in Conference or even L2 possibly - especially if he's used in a more advanced role.. I've no idea of the league standard in Norway. He did look a liability when defending though.

Good luck to the lad just wasnt going to make L1 level

I always thought he was a winger not a defender

Does this mean we have 1 more coming?

I see Bale scored twice for Madrid last night.

Different standard but he was a full back with issues who was about to be farmed out before some injury problems gave him a chance further up the field.

Sometimes I just think fans see things the professionals can't or won't.

I would beg to differ on this one. He had pace but little else. On the few occasions he was pushed forward he still looked like a rabbit in the headlights - the pace to go past someone but then a cross that would hit the first man.

If Northampton sent him back after half of one game on loan then there is clearly an issue as Chris Wilder isn't a mug.

Really he needs a couple of years of hard experience playing at a lower level. Build confidence and then who knows.

He had pace but also had a powerful shot on him. And as for crosses not beating the first man, he was hardly alone in that amongst CTFC players.

Wasn't it Wilder who had Bulman at Oxford and let him go?

Agree with this. Players who haven't made the grade with us often drop down til they find their level, and then start playing well and realising their potential. Akinde for one, possibly Wassmer, though I don't think he was given a fair chance here.

His days were numbered when others were played out of position ahead of him. The final nail in his coffin was the signing of Paul Connolly.

He's not a full-back... could possibly be a half-decent wide-forward (as opposed to a winger)...(?)

You nailed it there Simon. Not good enough for L1 by a country mile. Pity Barker didn't take him to Portsmouth when he left.
