According to the report I have attached below from the Argus, both Joe Walsh & Kyle McFadzean turned down moves on Deadline day.

Fair play to them both, long may they continue playing for Crawley Town.

Ben

Bearing in mind this was on deadline day and the club had accepted the other clubs offers we would potentially have been left unable to field a side let alone a subs bench?!! Very Happy
I see in the same article James Hurst made a big impression at Northampton?!

Well done Kyle & Joe I wonder who the bids were from, God knows what team we would be able to put out had they gone.

The good news about the recent postponements is that those games will now take place after the loan window opens next week. Bring in 2-3 good quality players and we will be fine.

2 or 3? We (according to the managers words) were short of players before but after last week we are even shorter so it may need 4 or 5!! Shocked

Great news from Fadz and Walsh. Nice to see that some want to stay.

I notice in the Argus report that Hurst has been sent back to us. Only used for 64 minutes in one game and didn't even make the bench for the next match (injured maybe?)

Now that Adams has gone, what a great opportunity to put Hurst in at right wing. He was rubbish at right back but looked good when going forward. Phil T and I were discussing this on Saturday and were both of the same opinion.

Interesting if all true.
If we really got 95 for Adams then I reckon that was a good deal. (I would have thoght half that.)

As for Walsh and Fadz it just shows they are content at the moment.
I believe Walsh has made the right decision, he might have gone somewhere else and struggled to get games, at his age its important he plays and I think he is still improving. As for Fadz he is just the best, long may he stay.
However I suspect both might be gone in the summer lured by big money and championship clubs but I am sure Connelly and Essam will do a good job.

Love Gregory's qoute on Billy Clarke, 'itd have to be 5million if they want him'

Never be sorry about a plug. Without them we would have to rely on wi fi for all electrical products and no one would be able to have a bath.

An interesting read, I'd love to see Fadz play out his career at Crawley but unless we get promoted any time soon I would expect him to move onwards and upwards soon enough, and so he should try to better himself and make a bit more money, who wouldn't?

As for Walsh, I think it's only a matter of time before we get an offer we cannot refuse.

Good for them. Nice to see they wanted to stay - clearly they want to be at Crawley.

Bit of a shocker for James Hurst though. Bit much when you are subbed, dropped and sent back early by the team at the bottom of the league. I didn't realise he was that poor.
