Surprised no Drury or Jones ....looks like we have gone for guts and thunder today which I can understand in the circumstances.

We need Emile to put a *beep* in..can't carry a lazy performed toady from him."

Good intent. At least it's either 442 or 532 and not barkeresque 1 up front. Even the warm up is different.

Not sure about Connolly at RB. Would have kept same back four as at Swindon.

It is a u shall not pass formation.

Walsh is a better left back Connolly is a centre back.

A win is all that counts.

Sounded like a reasonable first half. Sounds like both teams had chances.
Not sure I like Connelly at full back (if that's where he is playing.)

hopefully it will open up a bit in the second half, a draw doesn't suit either team.

Crewe finished half strong as their pacey lads are targeting Connolly. Big second half coming up. Adams and Clarke need to step it up but 442 at least gives some sort of optimism. Just Give Us A Goal.

One thing hasn't changed, we still haven't had a shot on target, but proctor did hit the bar. Would like to see few more shots from midfield.

Is connoly playing RB? Can't say it's ideal having him there but then hurst and Simpson havnt been performing there so it can't hurt to try.

We tried him there early last season, he was a disaster! But then went on to do well c/back. Not going to do much four our overlapping down right?
