Paul Jones for me. Few mistakes and held a clean sheet.
Biggest surprise was Nicky Adams not getting the sponsors mom. |

50/50 between the centre midfield pairing for me, but as I can't split them I shall go for Jones just to show a middle finger to all the clueless haters. Sorry Dannie! |

Went for Proctor because he linked well with the midfield and had one of his best games.
Could have given it to Adams though, he played well.
Sinclair does have the useful habit of doing very little and scoring but I don't think he can continue doing that. Surprised he was sponsors MOM! |

I still think that Adams is the new Torres.
Oodles of skill but lacking in end product.
(Although Torres will tackle.) |

1-0 win based on a sound defence.
For me that pointed to Fadz, Walsh, Sadler and Simpson. All played exceptionally well but the best was ......
Walsh. |

Kyle, Adams and Proctor level for second place and Jones (GK) for fourth, the worst player on the park was the one some clown gave MOM to over he public announcement - scoring did not make Sinclair MOM!!! what else did he do? nOt much! |

Thought our worst two players were Drury and Sinclair. But they did provide the match winning moment so they get forgiven.
Gave my vote to Proctor, mainly because of the fact he stepped up to the plate whereas the others mentioned like Dannie, Kyle, Joe, jones (both) played at a level we are used to seeing |

Good shout!
Yesterday I heard Jones accused of:
-being lazy
-not having a 'football brain'
-not knowing where he should play
-generally being useless
Although a lot of this came from the same direction as the comment 'he should have left that' when proctor got a block in near the half way line and it went for a corner. |

I agree, Phil. I thought Walsh was terrific. I think he has improved since he got his U-21 Call up and will be a big player for us this season. |

Gave it to Kyle, had a decent game for us again, very solid at the back. MOM could have been Walsh, Bully or Proctor, who had his best game for us. If he plays like that more often he'll become a vital player for us. Nobody had a poor game IMO.

Shows how many players had a good game judging by the number of different choices above.
Gave mine to Paul Jones in the end but it could have been many more given the choice. |
