Have a feeling Sergio is doing what Maggie Thatcher did and out staying his welcome...RB gave him a long awaited chance last night and blew it big time...
Really enjoyed watching him play but its time to move on Sergio.. |

I think we will see Segio leave at the end of the season,or he may seek a move himself in January,he does have his pride afterall.
He was poor last night, but so was everyone else.I think the lack of games hasn't done him any favours and this certainly showed in his performance.
Still,I think he has done alright as an impact sub this season,so is certainly still a valued squad member for that reason alone. |

I think when the coaches and players calm down after what was a poor performance things will settle. You can't right off Torres , Connolly , Hurst and Sinclair on the back of one game in 7 weeks. All were poor as each other last night. The bottom line is though they aren't playing regularly and therefore we aren't a going to see what they are capable of until they have played three or four games.
Take Connolly there were large stretches of last year he played really well to the extent you could argue he was our best central defender. |

Yup. Out of his depth, you know all of the 10 minutes or something Sergio has played this season he wasn't up to scratch, get rid. |

Where do you get the '1 game in 7 weeks' bit from?
Sinclair, Hurst and Connolly have had at least two starts in that time and other game time as subs.
Torres is the only one who really hasn't had a chance. |

2oo2Red was being sarcastic.
Seems there is at least one tool in Northgate. |

Well ok one or two have had a bit more game time than others Sinclaire has played maybe 1 1/2 games total for us before last night having not played for 6 months prior to that. Conolly has had two or three games but has been in and out. Hurst had a good run at the start but was dropped before the Wolves game due to poor defending.
I actually thought Torres has done ok for 15 minute spells when he has come on in league games.
I think it's right back we need a loan signing more than anything. |
