Not to worry today. We are up against the bottom side on Friday. That little known club called Sheffield United.

Thought we were rather lucky to come away with 3 points. Draw would have been a fair result as neither side settled and we survived an onslaught towards the end. Very happy chappy though as these are the games we need to be winning. I also have to say that both Drury and fadz were well off their game today!

Well I think we stole that one. Our worst performance of the year. We have played some incredible football this season but today we were totally dominated by Oldahm in midfield. Sinclair apart from one run really struggled to hold the ball up or get involved at all. Proctor was far more effective when he came on.

We did have two very clear chances but I you sort of felt they came because Oldham were pushing forward.

We defended well for most part but we have defiantly played a lot better and not picked up three points. Oldham do have a decent quality squad with a lot of higher level experience. Their league position is very mis leading.

I've just got in from a long, hard slog at work. Sounds like 1-0 to us then.
The important bit is that we kept a clean sheet. We need to do that more often. I'm looking forward to be able to get to a few games. Work/money/ cashflow has been getting in the way lately.

I thought we were in for a goal fest after 6 minutes, but we were lucky to win in the end, Thought Procter looked good when he came on. I didnt like the hoof it up and see style of play, reminisent of days gone by. But the 3 points are very welcome.

I don't wish to be to hard on Sinclair because he is clearly unfit but it was like playing with 10 men for spells while he was on. He could not get near the ball or hold it so it was coming straight back.

Proctor helped enormously when he joined the fray. Alexander back next week and I would start with Gary A .

First half was ours, second half most definitely Oldhams. Agree with earlier post a draw would have been a fair result.
Also agree Sinclair definitely off the pace and Proctor certainly showed him what he should have been doing when he came on.
Early days, however if Sinclair is not fully match fit he should not be starting.
Not a good game for the purists but 3 points always welcome. Bring on S.U. on Friday.

Fadz done ok today made a few silly errors but overall he helped us keep a clean sheet

i thought Drury was by far the worst player today never got in the game and his passing at times was poor, but the lad kept going so credit to him for that

1-0 should have been 3-1 to us imho but a win is a win and as someone else alluded to we have a very easy game at Sheff Utd on Friday Laughing

in all seriousness this was a good result and i think that's 5 games unbeaten now just the ticket to take to one of the toughest games of the season
