Bottom line is that its the biggest sponsorship deal in clubs history . We need revenue and everyone sells naming rights.
Wel done tothe club in securing the deal.

Honestly don't bother me. When I was an active Gooner I used to first of all go to Highbury (stadium not called that) and then later on went to Ashburton Grove. If it gives anyone a warm feeling downstairs to call it the new name then let them crack on.

Only really matters to be winning at the checkatrade fortress.

Well done to all concerned, particularly Michael and Ewan.

As has been said, it'll always be Broadfield to us, but if someone else wants to pretend it's something else and is willing to pay for the privilege, then pay away.

Couldnt care less to lose the Broadfield Stadium name, it was always "I am going to the football, or to Crawley" anyway. It might seem a bit strange when the first report comes through from there on tv but it is one of the least emotive parts of the club I would have thought. Now if we were to change from Red to Blue strip...........................!!!
At least the club shouldnt have a problem finding a decent plumber or electrician either!
Well done to the club for this, maybe we should worry more about losing Ewan than any of our players, his team has secured some pretty good sponsorships this summer. And also the new CEO, well done.

Great news an investment for the club, like many people have said it does not matter about the name of the ground.
What we need is more people in the ground.

Well done Ewan and the new CEO.

This is a good deal for Checkatrade as well as the club. I had never heard of them until 20 minutes ago.

Recent events are making more sense now possibly.
Buying a player that we thought we couldn't afford plus declining bids for a current player.
It would appear that the finances had been thought through better than first appeared. Fair's fair though so I suppose our backer(s) will want a bit more of their money back too. It is their money after all.
