I can't quite believe that no-one else snapped him up - could be just what we need with a full fixture list & a very small squad...

..we are the third Sussex club he has been at on loan..!

Can't see the point in this.
I have nothing against the player, I think in other circumstances I would be really pleased he seems a good fit, young, developing, obvious talent, but with Drury and Adams I can't see him getting a game.

(However I will be very pleased if he proves me wrong and pushes his way into the team.)

Is he really that good then? Genuine question as not seen him really. Seemed ok in the Swindon game but to be fair the whole Swindon team looked better than us that day...

From a pure stats point of view he has played most of his trade in league two and conferance level and surely, as said already our midfield is ok?

Seems like a decent player and under other circumstances would a good signing but we have enough players in midfield the problem is defenders and strikers we are short of.

Midfielders will get injuries & bookings though, I'd place him on a par with Josh.. although our midfield seems better after Saturday... now that Mike Jones star is in the ascendant...!

Good signing who gives the squad some much needed strength

I think some people should take on board that he's signed for 5 months, if the side can get through to January without needing to use more than 11 players, then i'll be the first to admit his signing was a waste of time and resources

It looks like Swindon want rid so presumably he isn't costing too much.

Time will tell whether he will start to realise his potential at Crawley, or whether he is another of those non players like Clifford, O'Brien, Elford-Wotsit etc that are just bench warmers.

Not the highest quality, but I dug out a video of Luke Rooney's chip vs Southampton when he was 18 years old, and uploaded it YouTube.

Nice goal which I remember well. Smile

Welcome Luke. As with all signings I wish you the very best of luck.

I've only seen you a couple of times but you have ability.
