Lots queuing to buy tickets. The queue for pre-paid ticket collections moved very quickly.

With a 3 increase on tickets purchased on the day once the season starts it's a real incentive to buy in advance. I just hope the queues don't just move from one window at the ticket office to another.

Should have been 1-1 there. Goalie makes a point blank save from a header then Clarke nutmegs goalie only for it to be ruled offside . Close call.

Good spell by Crawley. Couple of good chances to score.

To be fair Brighton looked on a different footballing planet to us for large parts especially in the second half.

Positives were Adams as usual, KM looked very solid and Jones did a bit.

Hurst had a torrid time in defence against Lua Lua especially first 45 and nervous on the ball. Improved 2nd half and hopefully more to come. Def no Dumbya standard though.

Up front Proctor just doesn't seem to have a strikers instinct needed way to much time to get his shots off and missed a sitter with his head. In attack its either Adams or Adams for us.unless he is on it we struggle to create.

Disappointed Drury didn't get on as a lot rests on him giving us options in attack.

As an aside I do worry for Yeovil this year, they are our sort of size club and if that's what they have to compete against it will be tough.

That was very flat.
I have spent time at the dentist that were less painful then this evening.

Oh, can we get the floodlights fixed please.

Brighton were the better team. LuaLua caused us lots of problems and it was no surprise the first goal came as a result of his deflected cross.

Hurst looked dodgy at fullback, given a torrid time by LuaLua and tbh didn't look any better than David Hunt and certainly not as good as Dumbuya.

Clarke and Adams as usual carried our attacking threat. Be interesting to see what Drury can offer us, he could be a key player alongside those 2.

More players need to be added to the sqaud and performance levels need to improve, particularly from Proctor who didn't offer much.

On the flip side we won't be playing Brighton every week. On last season showing they are probably the best 1 or 2 footballing sides outside Premiership

There are a few fring players at Brighton who are talented and perhaps we should look to bring one in on loan. The striker George Barker for instances.

I am more convinced than ever we need to add a holding central midfield player and a striker to our team. Bulman just struggles with the pace against a fast passing team. Upfront Proctor just seems to need to long on the ball / not clinical enough.

He got an ok return last year 7 in 18 games. So maybe it's a bit harsh but seem to remember 6 goals came in three games.

I thought there were quite a few positives to take from the game. It was by far our best pre season performance. We were competitive against a strong opposition.

I thought Mike Jones did well and was unlucky to hit the bar near the end. I genuinely think he will be a key player for us this year in a more central role. I thought Proctor put himself about well though he should have scored with his header. Having Fadz back is like a new signing, he made one absolutely magnificent challenge in the first half to prevent Brighton scoring.

I'd like to see another forward added to the squad and if we managed to get one even on loan I'd be happy with the squad going into the season
