Same as this year if purchased in advance, increase of 3 if bought on the day.

Is that not a good way of putting off our more casual fans?

Hopefully not. It's relatively easy to purchase in advance and pick up on the day.

Thats not really the description of a casual fan though. Casual is someone who looks in the paper at 1pm, sees we are at home and decides to pop along.

Swings and roundabouts. As a casual fan, around 10 - 12 games a season, this would work from a clubs perspective. Without doubt during the course of the season I will be planning to go to a game midweek, yet come Saturday, raining, cold, her indoors, etc, I decide to do something else or even nothing. If I had all ready got my perceived discount, I doing I would back out as that would be money lost.

Would I still go as often, probably and would have to stump up the extra on the day if I could not commit in advance.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Might not make a huge difference, but not sure it'll make us any more money than now if we have a number of people not making their decision until matchday, but when they find out it costs more, just settling for Soccer Saturday.

but whole point is some supporters just want to decide on the day maybe even last minuet and the price may very well be offputting, so why do Crawley bother making the extra charge it doesnt make sense to me! OG in my opinion!
