Very thin squad only being able to name 6 subs again. In situations like this, I wonder if there is any merit in naming 7 anyway. Although the 7th wouldn't play due to injury, it might serve the purpose of keeping the opposition guessing a bit more. Not likely to make much difference I suppose but could influence one of their substitutions if they are unclear about what we have in reserve.

Can see this being 0-0. We don't do many of them lately.

Not sure if it is a sign that interest is a bit low, but a few minutes ago only two people browsing this forum less than 1 hour before k/o, or maybe everybody is at Bury?
On the player front is it 3 players we currently have out (Fadz, Clarke and Connolly)? WOuld normally reckon 1 or 2 injuries at any given time, so basically we just have a very small squad anyway, and having seen Wednesday game there doesnt look a lot there that could come in an do a job (yet)! Just need to pray for no more injuries.

A sign of how our expectations have dropped when we think 0-0 away to Bury is optimistic!? We will end up with a hatful today! Confused

Interesting to see only 1 player (Bulman) in the starting XI also started the game at Accrington last season when we were promoted. Plus Hunt and Torres on the bench.

I would say Jones for Shearer, Dumbuya for Hunt, Sadler for Cummings and Adams for Nielson are improvements, other than that it looks very average indeed.

Let's hope I have egg on my face at 5.00.

Yes there were two browsing!
Mentions of last seasons side, but I see that only four players starting today from the side of early season when we won (and were winning the games which have made us relatively safe despite our slide down the league)! Shocked

5 mins and apparently a good save by their keeper to deny Taylor. That would have been impressive:)

Not optimistic today given the threadbare match squad. A draw would be fine. A win fantastic.
