I'm sure this has been covered but does anybody know if the final at the Amex?

Perfect, Three Bridges in the semi's and anybody at the Amex in the final. RB make it happen or else!
(Yes that's right I'm holding Barker accountable for the Semi Final Draw as well as getting the right results even if it is Taff who takes charge of SSC games) Twisted Evil

Despite the competition being the lowest of the clubs priorities it's a fantastic insentive for the younger players to win a trophy & enjoy a day (afternoon) out a decent stadium. Must have a fairly good chance v Hastings?

Does anyone know if the draw is 'weighted' so that we avoid Brighton until the final, should we get that far?

Assuming we make the final against Brighton and both clubs have nothing to play for when the final takes place at the AMEX, given both clubs high league standing, could this turn out to be a full first team match and set a new attendance record for such a cup final?

No, there is no seeding. We've drawn them in early rounds many times before. It's always been an open draw.

As for the attendance, I guess it's a possibility, though I can't see it grabbing the attention of most Brighton fans. I'm not sure what they got for finals back in the 50's and 60's, but looking at pictures of a packed east terrace at the Goldstone for the 59 final on the ctfchistory facebook page, I'd say they must have been close to 20,000!

That is a good shout though. 5 a ticket U18's free. Should be a pretty good attendance. If we make the final I may take my daughter there to see a 'proper' stadium Wink

Come on everyone. Lets get down there in numbers and have right old knees up. The two mid week Senior Cup matches have been great fun away from the pressure of league points.

Win or lose I am sure a good time will be had all. Its a bit of a treck but well worth the effort.

Dont forget a trip to the Amex awaits the finalists.

Looking forward to this one. Making my way there from Eastbourne on the train with a mate.
Are there many of us going? What kind of side do you reckon we will field?
Hoping for a good atmosphere and a good result. Would be nice to know we are one step away from seeing CTFC at the Gaymex.

Hope to be there. If anyone would like a lift from/to Haywards Heath area/station then PM me.

Especially coming back, it'll be quicker than the train!
