? I thought he was our cover for both midfield and centre back, and the only one with any experience (without Fadz available)? Shocked

I cannot remember, was he a "Mr Integrity" signing or one of RB's? Seems a strange one whatever, would have thought his experience might be invaluable, especially with the Fadz situation uncertain and Claude gone?

I wouldn't put your house on it, he has been telling us FADZ has gone for weeks. (However if he keeps going he must get it right one day Laughing )

I hope this isn't true. What a ridiculous move, for Cooper and CTFC. Shocked Cooper was meant to be our cover for left midfield, CB and maybe LB. I don't get this idea that we can perform with such a threadbare squad. A couple of injuries and we'll be in trouble. Barker doesn't like too many loan players, so I hope he manages to keep Fadz.

Best way to get match fit for a month maybe. imagine Sparow , Adams Jones and Clarke will be in the midfiled first up with Proctor and Alexander up front.

Think RB said he was going to change things around which is uspect will mean two strikers.

Makes sense needs game time. No doubt we could recall in an emergency. We have lots of midfield cover. May be a good sign that we still expect to have Fadz by feb.

According to the Argus it's a loan for the rest of the season.... seems odd if true, more so If Mcfadzean goes.

Game time could be the only reason to loan him out, as you say if there is an emergency recall clause then we can call him back immediately, however I thought there was some minimum one month for loans.

Makes sense when you have a small squad to go for a player with a bit of versatility, in fact the same reason I liked him as an option from the bench, he always did okay for us.

What a silly move. I just dont get it. Yes hes guaranteed game time down there, so make it a month, but to the end of the season....

Can you have emergency recall clauses on season long loans?

Beeb are reporting it as a month to month deal.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21164211

May make some sense and we may end up with a match fit player after a month Portsmouth have 8 games in the next month compared with our 6 and how much match time would Coops actually get in the team.

(I wonder if they would like Akinde as well Twisted Evil )
