Shame, he has been a good servant for the club and done well.
But its hard to keep going at the same level for year after year and someone new with new ideas and a different perspective hopefully will take us to the next level.

During his time at the club his job description must have changed dramatically. Wish him well in the future.

What a 3 years to be at the helm, the club is in a place I'm sure we wouldn't have believed it would've been some years ago.

Thank you Alan for all the work over the years, and hope you find a worthy successor, to carry on the club on in the future.

Thanks for all your efforts Mr. Williams over the years. I'm sure all the fans appreciate what you have done for the club. Best of luck with whatever you end up doing next.

We may not agree all the time but I don't think people always appreciate the time and effort Alan puts into the club.

Only 3 years ago we were struggling by on gates of less than 1,000 and couldn't afford to steward the away terraces for the Tamworth home game. Now we are challenging for a 3rd promotion in 3 years, something that has never been achieved I believe.

he steps down but continues to be a Director, what does that mean? what will he be directing? Re was he pushed or jump we will never probabaly know but if might just be exactly as he says it and why not accept that?

It means he is not the CEO but will continue to be a director. Not hard to understand.

yes of cours i get that BUT what exactly will he be directing? how will his change of role differ and wont that ultimately mean one more person joins the wage bill of the club in his replacement?

I don't agree with many of his actions over the last few years, but I can't fault the effort he's put into the club.

A pity, but I did feel that he looked a bit burnt out a few months ago when I was chatting with him. Maybe time for someone else to be on the front line? I only hope it's someone who cares as much. I haven't agreed with everything but I would rather have someone who cares but drops the odd googly than someone who doesn't care but does everything "perfectly".
Thanks Alan.

Step forward R R & R? Your time has arrived.
