Event: Wed Nov 14, 2012 1:00 am

Ticket prices and selling arrangements have been announced as follows on the club website:
Quote: | Wednesday December 26, kick off 3pm
Npower League One: PORTSMOUTH
Prices: Adults £20, Over-60s and 17-22 years: £15, Under-17s: £10, Wheelchair and carer (5 available): £10
Reds' fans will be in the Milton Road end of the ground. Portsmouth have asked us to point out that there are steps walking up to the away section and that rows A-G are unsuitable for anyone under 5ft 4in height due to a wall at the front of the stand.
The club has received an initial allocation of 400 seats for this fixture which will go on sale on Monday, November 19.
Tickets will be available on the day from the Ticket Office in Frogmore Road. No alcohol is permitted in the away section. |
I'd hope we could get closer to 1,000 down there for that game |

Being realistic i think 750 is the bare minimum we should be taking down there and anything above that is pretty decent |

So what happens if you pay up front and Portsmouth go broke before the date?
Would you lose your money? |

400 seems way too low. Surely got to be around double. |

Remember a lot of people are away for Christmas, and with no public transport, unless driving, or going by coach, it makes attending pretty much impossible.

That is a matter of secondary concern...
...I'd advise you to check who the ref is first before deciding to make the trip.

you make it sound like we are really hard done by, i would say that at least 75% of people who travel away normally go by car or coach, it isn't exactly far so i imagine many people will drive to this one and also you say it makes it virtually impossible if not using one of those methods of transport, but surely, it will then give people a chance to use the CTSA who wouldn't usually (won't be more expensive than getting the train) |

I think we will take around 800 for this, it is a bugger that the direct train from Three Bridges won't be in operation as driving on boxing day does put people off. |

I just meant a lot of people are away - out of Crawley with relatives for Christmas, as I am in this case. I always travel away by coach but I'm at my parents, with no trains running at all on boxing day leaving no choice but to miss it. Unless of course the CTSA or G & H fancy doing a pick up from Seaford, Sussex?
That was my point |

Exactly. Ask for a bike for Christmas and go for a leisurely pedal along the coast! |

Don't you drive?
If not, perhaps you could convince your Dad that Portsmouth v Crawley will be a splendid day out |
