Possibly yes if the comments on the link are to be believed. Shame, as he did a good job for them.

It's been all over Twitter tonight. He didn't do the post-match press interviews. Stuart Cash did them saying Brown was in tears in the dressing room.

Sounded like he'd had enough after the weekend defeat.

You can only do so much with a bunch of non-league players.

Shame, liked Brown.

Naturally hope their dreadful form continues under the new gaffer.

I do not wish ill on any football team.
But then AFCW and Lootown aren't football teams, so that's alright then.

Decent bloke but I can't say I'm surprised. They need to arrest the slump or it will be the Conference next season.

I wonder how long McGhee and Waddock have.

Funny how many of the managers we were linked with are struggling - Waddock, Holdsworth plus Pemberton gone at Sheff U.

He is a very decent bloke, their slump started last season when he had to spend more time on family issues.

He was at the game last night but then he was at many of our games (including a Reserve game) while we were without a manager.

My heart did sink a bit. I was hoping he'd have been cleared out along with Brown, whereby a big-money move (despite his advancing years) to Broadfield would have been on the cards.

Some chance...

Happy to pick this up too! I used to watch Bassey when I was an irregular attender at Carshalton. He used to strut around the pitch seemingly fuelled by his own self-importance but actually contributing very little overall. Perfect manager material!
