The king has left, who will be the next one?

With the upheaval of the last few months I think it is time for stability at the club. I am told Coppell doesn't want the day to day involvement any more so that only leaves Craig Brewster from within the club (though the academy manager has a good reputation).

Sean Dyche and Steve Cotterill are out of our league really but apart from Lee Bradbury or Paul Hart I can't think of any other managers out of work.

Dyche and Cotterill are not out of our league at all, and of the two I would very much champion approaching Dyche.

Why are Dyche and Cotterill out of our league? They are unemployed managers at the start of a season.

Hoddle would be OK for me and a coup if we could get him.

Forget Brewster, Coppell and Wilkins, passed over last time. Not what we need.

I'm more of a Cotterill man... but agree that they would both be interested.

Coppell will have role to.play in short-term, helping CB steady the ship (again) and in identifying new boss.

Like the idea of dyche or similar. Isn't Nicky forster available? Didn't he play under Coppell at reading?

How about finding somebody who plays nice football, and when they agree to join a club show some commitment to the job in hand and back up their fine words about integrity and sticking with a job, not someone spending the time after training looking at the situations vacant?

Would personally put Coppell in charge. The players know him. No need to make drastic changes IMO.

However, if they chose to bring someone in, Dyche would be an excellent appointment. Did very well at Watford and was only axed after the Italian takeover in which Zola was made manager.

Redknapp is out of a job and (Living in the Sandbanks area) is fairly local! Cool

Me too. The challenge could be that many potential managers wouldn't want Brewster and Coppell around and would prefer to bring in their own team. That includes getting the conditioning coach, fitness coach as well - they might need paying off if they don't go with SOD.

Something doesn't sit right with me about Cotterill. Reminds me too much of Westley. I imagine he could start an argument in a changing room after a 5-0 win (though of course a 5-0 win is always welcome)

Redknapp would be my dream ticket.

Realistically, Coppell's our man. Hopefully.
