Just watched the interview talking bout the new season ideas and honestly...im rather impressed!

A Junior Red style scheme for the younger fans, new club shop with more products, a family area in the East Stand and The Devilette Cheerleaders!

Seems like alot of change is going to be happening over the summer, obviously I expect people to moan and shoot down most of these ideas in some form as they always do....

I think this shows we are becoming a proper football club and are growing and wont soon be called "Little"

Definitely looking forward to the new season and the new kits!

I'll have a moan, being as you invited it. Wink

It's a shame this kind of interview isn't available for everyone so we can all share in the clubs plans.

Absolutely, restricting anything like this to Reds Player is a great way to involve all the new/potential fans.... Confused

Previous stuff like this have been premium content for a few days before and then made free to everyone. If you want to know what he says in the meantime sign up to Reds Player.

Quite interesting yesterday on visiting the club to suss out and buy season tickets. The end section nearest the BW stand is blocked out for Staff, Comps, scouts, etc (Alan W says we now have around 200 staff, presumably including players but even so it has certainly grown!) with the next section Family area, and with one and half sections taken up with away fans and segregation the actual general public area is going to prove pretty popular!?

Exactly. This kind of interview is effectively an advert for the club, so to limit it's range is shortsighted, IMO.

I have no need for Reds player as I go to games, unless I want to share in the clubs plans.

Hopefully you're right and it will be free to view within a couple of days.

The Football League App has all the Reds content and more for cheaper.

Stand out comment in Alan's interview: Cheerleaders before matches. Coincidentally just reading about Blatter's blathering about Pen Shoot-Outs; why not solve the problem with Cheerleaders? It's 1-1 after extra time. Best Cheerleader routine wins the match. Simple. Come to think of it, why not during the match? We're 1-0 down against Coventry on 89 mins. Bring the Redettes on around the 18 yard line.

I haven't tried it but I heard that it has everything except probably the most important thing - the match commentaries!

200 hundred staff !
Thats a really worrying statistic, I presume a majority are part time for match days, if not what the hell do 200 people do ! The wage bill and overheads must be massive.

It must be part time! You've got ticket sellers, turnstile operators, tea bar staff, stewards, bar staff and the catering for the executive area. I'd presume they are all included in this figure.

I'm more concerned you think we might have 200 full-time staff. Shocked
