They will have to release quite a few to bring anyone in.
So:
Josh Payne Release, makes to many critical mistakes
Matt Harrold - As Banj last year cant afford the risk Sad
Jason Banton - Release
Jordan Roberts - Either him or Clifford
Billy Clifford - Either him or Roberts
Andre Blackman - No not good enough defensively
Addison Garnett - Release, We have cover
Arjan Tajbakhsh - Release
Chris Arthur Release

Hopefully we can bring in 2 backs a defensive midfield and a BIG striker.

I've got to say, that's pretty much spot on...

The only addition to that I'd make (new league rules notwithstanding) is Bobson.

If your saying Payne makes too many mistakes you must also include Yorwerth and Connelly.

I agree that a new manager would suffer from the significant restriction or constraint in the form of the number of players remaining on contract. New managers like to bring in their own players. I would submit that this is the folly at this level of so doing.

However, a new manager would inherit a not untalented squad in the main, would hopefully change the pattern and style of play, be able to motivate the squad better and demonstrate much more tactical nous than has been shown throughout the current season.

Many on this forum have also stressed that we do not seem to be as quick, fit, or generally as energetic as many of the other sides we have played. I tend to agree, which is another flaw of the current regime.

If 'The Project' is to go ahead for a second season largely unchanged it could end up being known as 'Project Relegation'.

If we are thinking of running an U23 team next year then it might be worth keeping Garnett and Bawling (wages dependent) as it fleshes out the squad and will give them game time making them more likely to be fit when needed in the first team

Agree with all of that. Also let go of Yorwerth and Bawling.

Bobson can't get in the 18 at present so his chances are limited.

Yorwerth, too many mistakes. I understand why people say he could play somewhere else but is untested and to be honest I'd rather we just signed a midfielder if that is what we need.

Jury out on Lewis Young still for me.

Henderson as well if we have not exercised the option.

I left out Yorwerth and Bawling on age I think at 22 they may improve and get more consistant. If we didnt have Yorwerth I would have kept Garnett, I just think Yorwerth is better.
