At least your spelling is consistent, even if he isn't!

Thank you for all your efforts at Crawley Gwion. Good luck at Posh. You're good enough to rip league 1 apart.

Come back and see us sometimes just remember not to bring your shooting boots when you do. Smile

A shame, but we will replace him.

Apart from a few games here and there I didn't think he was ever the same player after the injury he had and JG tried to rush him back to quickly

Was our best player last season but does give us some much needed funds to strengthen elsewhere. If it is a 6 figure sum, I don't blame the club for sanctioning it.

Get real. We never ever invest money we get for players whether the same or better. We will end up with some 18 year old from Bolton who has never kicked a ball. The fans have been shafted yet again we can't wait to sell a player. Why should people bother turning up each week whenever we get a half decent player they are sold on. We will never go anywhere. Just downwards.

Not happy at all

Gwion himself has stated it was time for a new challenge, so no point in keeping on a player who wants to move on.

Exactly. The player had refused a contract extension so it was a 6 figure fee now or nothing next summer. No brainer really, it gives us money to reinvest.

A shame to lose a talented player, however, a six figure fee, giving us time to bring in a capable replacement, and the fact he was out of contract in a year's time is good business from the club.

It's a good move for all parties - Peterborough have a habit of bringing players on and then selling them and I 'm sure we'll be hearing about Gwion playing in the Championship at some point.

As Simon said, GE seemed to lose a yard or two of pace after being rushed back from his troublesome injury by JG in 2014-15.

People seem to be saying Peterborough beat Celtic and Rangers to his signature. I reckon we might have got a decent price for him if there was some competition.

Nice if true.
