Not sure the segregation is really necessary!

Team Jensen; Oyebanjo, Dickson, Walsh, Leacock; Edwards, Simpson, Smith, Henderson; McLeod, Tomlin. Thats probably the starting line up against Barnsley.

Subs Young, Charles Banya *, Essam, Bawling, O’Connor, Richefond, Spiegel, Odametey *, Stewart *, Robson *

Looks like they are taking another look at Banya and Stewart.
Anyone know who Odametey and Robson are ?

In terms of league one football that bench looks woefully weak. I doubt they have 50 league games between them.

Good week for ex Reds scoring against us.

Reason and Wright for Eastleigh, Tait for Three Bridges, now Rendell for Woking.

Young and Stewart have both played over 50 league games each. Shocked

JG's views - http://www.crawleytownfc.com/n.....65382.aspx

Some interesting comments towards the end about some triallists and assessing players generally.

Woeful first half with Brian Jensen keeping us in it - got a penalty which Izal McLeod put away but was against the run of play. Second half again we tried to beat players instead of passing -again we scored with Emmett O'Connor putting the ball in the net from close range. Woking pulled one back again from the penalty spot which they deserved. Overall Woking played the better passing game - we kept playing the long ball over the top which the home side dealt with on most occasions. The front two need to learn to learn when to pass and when to run with the ball.

Talk about signing Stewart how did he do?

We are going to have five centre backs shortly, surely that is to many.

I think we are going to be far more direct this season. Jansens clearance kicks were landing iat the edge of the oppositions box against Brighton.
Don't think we will be moving it out from the back to often. Maybe that's why we are so light on midfielders we won't need them.

If those are the highlights my sympathies to those who went.

Interesting to heard JG talking on the post match interview about failing to take our chances and McLeod fannying around instead of getting a shot in. Sounds like last season all over again.

Still it's always hard to judge from pre-season games.
