I think it's reasonable to expect us to beat the bottom two sides. Don't you?

Not if I put a win bet on us, then we definitely won't!

If we lost all our remaining games there's a decent chance we'd stay up.

We tried that one last season though Paul. It didn't make for great viewing. Smile

I've always been one for realism but let's be honest if we can't beat Orient and Newport with the state they're in at the moment then it's not a good sign.

I would take 4 points as feel that's whats needed to be playing L2 football next year

then with the pressure off the lads just might start playing with a little more freedom knowing safety was always the main goal
what pressure? Loads are contracted and if we lost every remaining game we will still stay up.No player or management are until any pressure.

Conversely, you could make the case that the two teams at the bottom have quite a lot to play for - it's now or never for the pair of them - and might just welcome playing a side who aren't too involved in matters at either end of the table..?

scratch

I believe the winding-up order for Orient is due to be heard today.

Thad implies concern, but we know really he's more interested in emailing Radcliffe and Maconie on 6Music...

C'mon James, it is not compulsory to be a media-luvee from Hove to listen to 6music... anyway, they wanted missed opportunities for crappy puns... my alltime specialist subject, I was incapable of any form of resistance... they had the good grace to laugh too...

Shocked

...but I'm quite surprised that a cool indie/dance hipster - such as yourself - hadn't turned off in disgust during the progtastic ten-minute album track by Yes..?

Some of us can vouch for that! In fact they are the real reason for Thad's frequent terrace bans. Nothing to do with upsetting the club or its officials!

Build on the good points of this season get rid of the dead wood and replace the east stand with something new and half decent and appealing to families and fans alike with better facilities that would help

I was waiting for Teatime Themetime. Laughing

Or perhaps sticking it out by virtue of the 6Music playlist, which implies for every bit of 70s prog rock there is a banging techno number straight after it... sometimes. salut

I took Maconie to task on his understanding of bet terminology a few weeks back and got read out, before reminding myself that he's never wrong about anything... even when he is. Silly me!

Top Fella - I thought of one featuring Allan Clarke of The Hollies, Mick Jones of The Clash and Billy Bremner of Rockpile... Cool

The eclectic mix drives you mad on occasions - but it really is the only choice when updating website content and trying to get cascading style sheets to function properly.
